SAMPLING

Aside from geophysical acquisition and the other services that we specialise in, we also offer a range of geological and employment services.

Sampling is an excellent way of getting an insight into what potentially lies beneath the surface of the Earth. They are low impact, low cost and can greatly assist geologists when it comes to planning a drilling program. Examples of a variety of sampling techniques include:

Surface (eg Outcrop)
Soil
Calcrete
Vegetation (biogeochemical)

The sampling techniques we are able to offer are an excellent complement to any of our geophysical services. Why not take a geological sample or a combination of different sampling methods at a set distance or spacing where a field crew member will be taking a geophysical measurement? Combining the geological and the geophysical information can offer some valuable information when it comes to choosing or prioritising drill targets, and could eliminate any unnecessary or incorrectly positioned costly drilling.

Our field crews will sample to the clients specification in the manner that is required for the sample to be lab ready. We have all the necessary equipment to undertake any of the sampling methods mentioned above. And if a particular sampling method isn’t mentioned above, just ask, as we most probably are capable of doing it.

PROVISIONS OF STAFF

Do you require a Field Technician, Geophysicist or Geologist for a short term assignment? Our multi-disciplined field technicians are experienced in the field and are capable of assisting the client in any way possible. We also have geologists and geophysicists that also are experienced in the field. So if you need a geologist to sit on a rig and log samples and manage the drilling program, or a field technician to undertake sampling for a drilling program, let us know.
